Description Roman 2018-11-10 14:35:30 CET
Currently rpmfusion packages Audacity 2.3.0. https://www.audacityteam.org/download/linux/ says:

> The current release version for Linux is Audacity 2.2.2
>
> Please note that Audacity 2.3.0 for Linux is considered ‘experimental’ and may crash. In particular, real-time preview effects will crash when applied.

I just ran into this issue myself: https://sourceforge.net/p/audacity/mailman/audacity-devel/thread/CABp83eAm%2BoyjQrWpthyVTvAu_6ei7uTdzPY05ebBq9uA6T3NiQ%40mail.gmail.com/#msg36463570

Please consider downgrading the rpmfusion Audacity version to 2.2.2 until 2.3.1 is released.

2.3.1 is building, I wonder what excuse they will use this time when their rotten release code doesn't function ;-)

In my usage, I found less problems with 2.3.0 than with 2.2.2, so I guess it may depend upon whether you hit the particular trigger in your usage.

2.3.2 seems fine for me.
