Description keny 2008-12-08 19:25:23 CET
Description of problem:

When I try to export a dv video in kino, using the yuv deinterlaced option it
don't generate any output file and it don't sends any message but
/var/log/messages shows this:

Dec 8 01:38:18 localhost kernel: __ratelimit: 37 callbacks suppressed
Dec 8 01:38:18 localhost kernel: yuvdeinterlace[23583]: segfault at 906bea0 ip
0804a6bc sp bfbf9e90 error 4 in yuvdeinterlace[8047000+7000]

kino calls to mp2enc in this way:

[kenjy@fenix ~]$ ps aux |grep mp2enc
kenjy 23581 8.0 0.0 2652 1008 ? S 01:36 0:14 mp2enc -v 0 -b
224 -o /home/kenjy/Escritorio/test1.mp2
kenjy 24716 0.0 0.0 4244 772 pts/2 S+ 01:39 0:00 grep mp2enc
[kenjy@fenix ~]$

the version of the mjpegtools its:

mjpegtools-1.9.0-0.6.rc3.fc10.i386

Well guys the actual version of mjpegtools its the 1.9.0 rc3, but the last week the rc4 was released, you could build the package.

How they say in the site:

"The major improvment compared with the RC3 is that a rate control bug in mpeg2enc is fixed.
Beside the Linux packages we also have a precompiled windows package. "

So if you release this package the problem should be solved.

RPMFusion is no longer releasing updates for this version of Fedora. This bug
will be set to RESOLVED:EXPIRED next week to reflect this.

If the problem persists after upgrading to the latest version of Fedora, please
update the version field of this bug (and re-open it if it has been closed).
Comment 4 Emmanuel Seyman 2012-04-15 18:22:33 CEST
Setting to RESOLVED:EXPIRED since RPMFusion is no longer releasing updates for
this version of Fedora.
